Guided Walk in Carrickfergus Town EHOD 2023

About

Carrickfergus has more history than most other towns in this country. We have castles, palaces, salt mines, American connections and royal visits over the centuries.

The Presbyterian Church in Ireland began in Carrickfergus.

St Nicholas Church of Ireland is one of the oldest Irish church buildings in continuous use as a place of worship. Much of the old town walls still exist and some of the buildings have been rebuilt in the Ulster Folk Museum. So come to Carrickfergus and let John escort you around our fabulous Krag Fergus

John is a qualified Blue Badge Guide and has been a member of the  'N Ireland Tour Guide Association' for 20 years.  Having been born in Carrickfergus , he is a keen local historian, and lives there.
