Photographs reflecting the life and times of local ‘big house’ family the Youngs of Galgorm Castle in the late Victorian and Edwardian era will be on display for the second time this year at Mid-Antrim Museum in The Braid, Ballymena from 24 June until 30 September 2023. 

Back by popular demand, this selection of 100 unique photographs from a collection of 1,100 negatives provides a window into a lost world of pre-First World War Ballymena, Ulster and beyond with intimate family photographs and more artistically inspired images set alongside an intriguing record of everyday life beyond the walls of the demesne.  A free souvenir brochure is available for visitors.
