"LARNE. A Personal Portrait.", a photographic exhibition by Roger Ford-Hutchinson

2 Victoria Road, Larne, County Antrim, BT40 1RN
Photograph by Roger Ford-Hutchinson

About

Roger Ford-Hutchinson is an award-winning documentary filmmaker who lives in Larne and loves taking photographs.

Since his retirement in 2008, Roger has been quietly experimenting with "slow photography", an artistic style that focuses on old school, analogue film techniques.

In this first exhibition of his photographic work, Roger handpicks an eclectic mix of images from the thousands he's taken of Larne and thereabouts over the last 15 years.

This is a story of slowing down, connecting to others, encouraging your own creativity and finding beauty in the everyday.

The exhibition will be on display from Friday 31st May until Friday 28th June 2024 and includes Saturday opening on 22nd June.

For more information please contact Larne Museum on 028 28 262443 or e-mail marian.kelso@midandeastantrim.gov.uk.
