About

With his distinctive voice and looming stage presence, Ken Haddock will be putting on a wonderful acoustic gig based in the blues and pulling in from the classic Americana songbook. The gig promises to be a very chilled out relaxed occasion as Ken will also be telling the story of his adult life through the singing of his own songs, as he will also devote a portion of the show to performing his own original work.

He will be joined on the evening by the incredible virtuoso chromatic harmonica player, Clive Wills. Clive is without question one of the very best harmonica players in the country with a deep understanding of the jazz and blues vocabulary. Clive stands out in his field with his finesse, sensitivity and creative musicality.

For over a quarter of a century Ken has been hosting his own show in the Belfast’s Empire music hall every Sunday night. Ken delivers songs with one of the biggest yet sensitive voices you you’ll hear.   Three albums of original work exist to date, The Sweetest Hour, Almost and One Night in Willowfield. International performances include tours in Europe and work in the USA. He has performed on stage along side Guy Clarke, Nancy Griffith, Bruce Cockburn, and Foy Vance.

Of Ken’s own work, the international songwriting legend that is Bruce Cockburn says, 'Ken Haddock's songs strike me as subtle and beautiful, delivered as they are with fine singing and guitar work. He should have the ear of audiences across the English-speaking world.'
