About
Elizabeth Jackson – A Journey That Shaped a Nation
As part of the USA 250 NI commemorations, join us to explore the remarkable life of Elizabeth Jackson — mother of Andrew Jackson — and her courageous departure from Boneybefore in 1765 to begin a new life in America.
Learn how her story connects our local heritage and to the early history of the United States, and the legacy that travelled across the Atlantic.
After the presentation, unwind with a calming slow stitching session, creating your own hand sewn US themed mug cosy. This an adults only workshop. All materials are included.
