About

Join in on the traditional summertime seaside activity - rockpooling! Discover the fascinating world of local rockpools and take a closer look at the weird and wonderful creatures that call them home.

Participants will meet at Carnfunnock Bay, with parking available on the right just before the entrance to Carnfunnock Country Park.

All necessary equipment, identification sheets, and activity guides will be provided to support a self-guided exploration. This is a relaxed, unstructured session designed for families and individuals to explore at their own pace.

Please note:

When booking, simply book one place per family group.
Meeting point is the bottom of the ramp at Ballygally Beach.
Adults are reuired to supervise children for the duration of the session.
Wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear.
This beach is not wheelchair friendly.
Activity includes roadcrossing, steps and sand terrain.
