Halloween Steam Sunday

About

Visit the picturesque seaside town of Whitehead to experience the magic of spooky Halloween steam.

On the historic 1907 platform at Whitehead Excursion Station you'll board our train for a short (10 to 15 minute) trip within our premises. Hauled by one of our preserved steam locomotives, you will travel in a carriage which a certain famous wizard would feel at home in - you will be transported to a bygone era.

Included in your ticket price is a train ride and admission to our 5-gallery Museum (allow at least an hour). Incudes activities for children in "The Stables" and "Carriage Gallery". Along the way, keep an eye out for our ghosts, hiding in the sheds ready for Halloween.

Afterwards, you can treat yourself to tea/coffee and snacks in our café.

This is an experience like none other. Your day will certainly be one that you will not forget! So come along dressed in your scariest seasonal dress and explore.

Suitable for children (and adults) of all ages!

Trains every 30 minutes from 11am until 3pm, but tickets need to be booked in advance to get your preferred time slot.
