About

Pollution Art - Ballygally Beach - 10am-12pm

Make a difference this summer, from waves of plastic to your very own masterpieces! You will start out by cleaning up the shoreline then instead of sending the waste to landfill, you'll make art!

The village of Ballygally is just 10km north of Larne. The beach is across the road from the main carpark which is next to the Spar. Please take great care to hold little (and big!) hands when crossing the road.

The session will begin with a litter pick of the beach, followed by an opportunity to get creative with our findings! Local artist, Janet Crymble will be on hand to facilitate the artistry and show us how to turn trash into treasure.

Please note:

When booking simply book one place per child, adults do not need to book a place.
Meeting point is Ballygally Beach, 2 Coastguard Cottages, Larne BT40 2QZ.
The beach is not wheelchair friendly.
Activity includes roadcrossing, steps and sand terrain.
Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear.
Adults are required to supervise children for the duration of the session.
See you at the sea
