About

Explore Galgorm Resort - A story of Linen and Land

Step back in time and discover Galgorm, where linen, land and water shaped a remarkable estate. Once the home of a powerful 19th‑century linen baron, Galgorm’s story unfolds through centuries of industry, elegance and transformation. Led by qualified guide George from Glenburn Tours, this engaging experience brings the past to life, linking Galgorm’s origins with its present‑day status as a world‑renowned spa and hotel resort. Follow the gentle flow of the beautiful River Maine through the grounds, venture off‑trail into ancient woodland, discover the wee church at Fenaghy, and keep an eye out for local wildlife. After the tour, why not linger with indulgent afternoon tea or a memorable dinner?

Tours run every Friday and Saturday at 11:15am, with extra dates available during the summer and flexible bookings for groups. Come walk through the ages - explore centuries in an hour.  Tours cost £10 per adult.  Children free (under 16s) when accompanied by an adult. Dog friendly.
