This year our much-loved town celebrates an incredible milestone as Ballymena turns 400, and we're marking the occasion in style with a summer packed full of fun, adventure, surprises and celebrations.
Whether you're a local, a regular visitor or planning a day out with the family, get ready to explore our amazing town centre, support our fabulous businesses and help us celebrate 400 years of Ballymena.
SUPER FUN FRIDAYS

Ballymena's Summer Fun Days return this year but they're going SUPER!
Visitors can enjoy all the usual favourites including giant games, face painting and special guest characters, alongside some exciting new additions including giant inflatable games and a few super surprises along the way.

Meet some furry friends at our fabulous Petting Farm and say hello to our special guests Leo, Stitch and Angel.
Friday 31 July
Get ready to boogie at our Silent Disco and welcome back everyone's favourite yellow troublemakers... THE MINIONS! BANANA!

These action-packed town centre quests combine theatre, storytelling, characters and games to create a living adventure right in the heart of Ballymena.
Gather your team, solve clues, complete challenges and meet some very interesting characters as you journey throughout the town centre.

Let's get ready to PARTY!
As part of our Ballymena 400 celebrations, the town centre will come alive with a fantastic street party on Greenvale Street, hosted by the fabulous Downtown Radio team and our host for the day, Kirsty McMurray.
Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, special guest characters, amusements, face painting, balloon modelling, arts and crafts, games stations and plenty of family fun throughout the day.
Expect music, laughter and a fantastic party atmosphere as Ballymena celebrates 400 years in style.
Some of our amazing Ballymena businesses will also be bringing the inside out, helping create a vibrant atmosphere as we celebrate this historic milestone together.

BALLYMENA 400 BIRTHDAY BONANZA
Tuesday 25 August
The big day is finally here!
On the official 400th anniversary of Ballymena, the town centre will come together for a birthday celebration like no other.
Businesses throughout the town will be hosting in-store celebrations, incentives and special offers, while visitors can enjoy spot prizes and surprises throughout the day.
Wellington Court will become the heart of the celebrations, with birthday activities, entertainment and of course cake, as we celebrate 400 years of our much-loved town.
And that's not all...
Parts of this celebration are being kept TOP SECRET
For now, all we're saying is clear your diary, gather your family and friends, and get ready to celebrate with us on Tuesday 25 August.
