Join us for the finale of our early medieval exhibition programme with culinary event that is sure to whet the appetite!
Archaeologist Dr Cormac McSparron will delve into the diet of early medieval Ireland while you will have a chance to sample a selection of mouth-watering dishes, inspired by the diet of the time, specially created for this event. These will include: inc pottage, potted beef with thyme and cranberries, rye bread, honey oatcakes and fruit compote.
Note that participants will receive a taster sample of each dish.
