About

Capture the spirit of the past through Fire, Feast and Folklore. Connect to the land, life and legend of a simpler world on our heritage farm. An authentic Irish rural experience

Start with a traditional Irish country welcome with a drink and light bite followed by a reflective walking tour of Willow and Lore family heritage farm connecting you to the place and a forgotten era.

Get hands on with seasonal farm activities:

- Make butter, from milk in the urn to butter in the churn

- Thresh the wheat from the chaff and learn how to take corn from meadow to dough

- Growing potatoes with man, horse and tractor power. From potatoes in the soil to spuds on the boil

With these staple ingredients and local produce, traditional Irish food is prepared on a griddle and enjoyed around the open fire, listening to local folklore and finishing up with a customary Irish parting glass.

Reclaiming our ancient heritage, there is a time and season for everything and our events will change to mark each of the eight celtic festivals, Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasa, Samhain, Winter & Summer solstice and Spring & Autumn equinox. Capturing the old farming calendar in the celtic wheel of the year. We will come together to capture the spirit of the past and embrace an old way of life that wll bring us back into community, preserve ancient skills, share folklore and let us live sustainably with nature.
