Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend - Jubilee Farm

About

Experience Jubilee Farm at Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend!

Discover the unique charm of Jubilee Farm, Northern Ireland’s first community-owned social farm, nestled on 13.5 acres in Larne. Rooted in the ethos of Creation Care, Jubilee Farm is where farming and conservation work hand-in-hand, and where both people and nature flourish together.

Founded through a community share offer with over 150 supporters, Jubilee Farm has grown into a welcoming, inclusive space for all. It’s a place where visitors and volunteers can experience the many benefits of social farming - an innovative, therapeutic approach to agriculture that promotes wellbeing, social inclusion, and education in rural settings.

During Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend, visitors can explore every aspect of farm life - from caring for sheep and hens, to growing vegetables, nurturing the soil, and creating wildlife-friendly habitats. This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with where food comes from, learn about careers in agriculture, and engage with a vibrant community working in harmony with nature.

A free minibus service will operate from a local car park, making it easy to enjoy the day without the stress of parking.

Safety Notice: To ensure the safety of both our guests and animals, we kindly ask that no dogs are brought onto the farm, with the exception of assistance dogs. Thank you for your understanding.

Come and experience farming with purpose at Jubilee Farm—where community, care, and connection grow.
