Watercolour Day Workshop: Capturing Wildlife in Paint

Tuesday 14 July

11am–4pm

Carrickfergus Museum and Civic Centre

Take time out, slow down and enjoy a day of creativity in this relaxed and friendly watercolour workshop. Using a beautiful bird as our inspiration, we'll explore a range of watercolour techniques including colour blending, layering, soft washes, texture and expressive brushwork.

The focus is on enjoying the process, building confidence and discovering what watercolour can do. This workshop is suitable for both beginners and improvers.

A template will be provided, so there is no need to know how to draw, allowing you to focus on painting and developing your skills with the support of step-by-step demonstrations throughout the day.

Whether you're completely new to watercolour or looking to loosen up your style and try new techniques, you'll be encouraged to experiment, explore and paint at your own pace in a supportive and encouraging environment. All materials are included—simply come along, relax and enjoy a creative day immersed in colour and paint..
