About

Herbs, Hospitals and Healthcare
Stories of health and wellbeing in Carrickfergus
18th April – 27 June
Carrickfergus Museum

From dock leaves to doctors' bags - discover stories of home cures, hospital heroes, and the people who kept our community well.
Another offering from the community engagement project, Our Town Our Stories, which aims to explore some of the lesser-told stories of Carrickfergus. The year-long heritage engagement project is a partnership between Positive Carrickfergus and Carrickfergus Museum and is funded by the Department for Foreign Affairs.
In the project, participants act as co-researchers, identifying, researching and communicating topics of their choice through exhibitions in the hope of diversifying the narratives about the town. For more info T: 028 9335 8241 or E: carrickfergusmuseums@midandeastantrim.gov.uk
