Rites of Passage Stencil Printing Workshop

2 Victoria Road, Larne, County Antrim, BT40 1RN
Stencil stamp by Gina Pierce

About

Explore the patterns from the Rites of Passage exhibition at The Braid through your own stencil printed tea towel in this textile workshop.

Designer Gina Pierce will introduce you to stencils inspired by the historic patterns and motifs found in the traditional garments and keepsakes on display.

Participants will bring these to life with a range of ready mixed textile colours to create your own stencil printed design. This simple yet effective form of print allows for personal expression, while producing a practical tea towel to take home with you. All materials and guidance provided.

£20 per person. Prior booking required. Workshop limited to 10 participants. Suitable for Age 16 +.
