About
Visual Noise is a project that's part of our Positive Sounds music development work. It's a collaboration between local photographers and musicians of all ages and backgrounds: our photographers captured a series of images (many taken right here in Carrick), and our musicians composed original pieces inspired by them.
We wanted to explore how emotion "translates" from one art form to another. While photography and music feel very different, both are powerful ways to tell a story. By bringing these two worlds together, we're encouraging new interpretations of our town and celebrating the incredible creativity found right here in Carrickfergus.
The Visual Noise Exhibition launches on Saturday 28th March and runs until 10th April and is run in partnership with Carrickfergus Museum with funding support from Arts Council NI and Clanmil Housing Association
