Often known as the Castle Walk, this scenic new route links Galgorm Castle with the UNESCO World Heritage Village of Gracehill. It’s an easy, enjoyable stroll through woodland, open countryside and alongside parts of the River Maine – perfect for a relaxed walk with friends, family or solo.The pathway also helps make visiting Gracehill easier while reducing traffic in the village. If you haven’t tried it yet, now’s the time!

• Starting at the dedicated car park located adjacent to the Creative Garden Centre in Galgorm estate, follow the signed path that leads to Gracehill, running alongside the River Maine. Explore the village at your leisure then return the same way.
• Before or after your walk take a dander around the estate to discover Galgorm Castle (not open to public) and the ruins of its historic 17th century church and family chapel. (Be careful this is a working business park with vehicle traffic moving around.) The exterior of the Castle has featured in TV programmes such as The Frankenstein Chronicles.
