About

How about doing something fun and different this Halloween break... like a self-guided murder mystery trail! ️‍♀️

This year we've created a limited-edition Halloween version of the Carrickfergus Whodunit Hunt that not only has a Halloween injection to the murder plot but also features two suspects dressed in Halloween costume! But are they trying to divert detectives' attention away from their guilt, or just having some Halloween fun? Only you can find out by completing the clue hunt.

On this trail find out about the long history of Carrickfergus, having been inhabited for around 850 years, and see many historic sites in addition to the impressive castle! You'll learn about the town's rise as a port, how it was surrounded by over a kilometre of walls (you'll see the remains), the part Edward & Robert The Bruce played in its history, and much more!

Over 30 clues to solve in a booklet containing several pieces of extra historical trivia! On top of that, read tales of ghosts that haunt Carrickfergus, perfect for Halloween!
