Come and celebrate with us at this years Learning Disability Pride event on Saturday 21 June 2025 in Carrickfergus, on the Causeway Coastal Route.
This bi-annual event aims to be a joyous way of raising awareness surrounding learning disabilities, celebrating diversity and inclusion within the community. It will kick off with a carnival parade starting at noon from Taylor's Avenue in Carrickfergus, travelling along the seafront of the town to Carrickfergus Castle (via Marine Highway), led by ambassador Kate Grant.
The celebration will continue in the Castle car park with an array of activities, including performances from members of the community with a learning disability, a live DJ from Q Radio and an array of local food and drink vendors, craft and market stalls plus workshops. Free family fun activities include face painting, bouncy castles, soft play, animals, arts & crafts and much more! Information point available along with a changing places (Accessaloo).
