Join local musician and storyteller, Lisa Dawson as she shares Ulster-Scots heritage through song and folklore in the heart of Carrickfergus

Native to Carrickfergus, Lisa Dawson is a harpist, songwriter, and storyteller deeply rooted in her proud Ulster-Scots heritage. Her music reflects the language, stories and traditions of Ulster Scots culture and the rich history of her hometown renowned for the iconic Carrickfergus Castle overlooking Belfast Lough.

Through the doors of Dobbins Inn, Lisa welcomes you by the 500 year old fireplace. Climb the narrow staircase to the Thomas Seeds Room, part of this original medieval towerhouse and settle in for an immersive experience filled with stories, music and song where you can tap, clap, and sing along.

Views of the landmark Carrickfergus Castle, original stained glass windows and carefully preserved artefacts, provide the perfect backdrop for this intimate musical experience.
