This Halloween, treat the whole family to an unforgettable day at Whitehead Railway Museum with Wings and Whistles — a spooky seasonal adventure packed with steam-powered fun and fantastic feathered friends! Climb aboard a real steam train ride, explore the museum dressed in your favourite costume, and come face-to-face with amazing birds of prey, including owls, hawks, and falcons. You'll get the chance to learn about these incredible creatures and snap some brilliant photos — no jump scares, just jaw-dropping fun!

The Museum is open from 10am until 5pm, Birds of Prey exhibitions will be on throughout the day from 11.30am-3.30pm.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked train timeslot. After your ride, you're welcome to explore the museum, visit the birds of prey, and enjoy the event for the rest of the day.
