About

Dobbins Inn is situated in the heart of Carrickfergus on its High Street, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the log fire in the bar lounge to the quality service and top-class food in the new Landings restaurant.

Dobbins Inn has a unique legacy spanning at least 800 years.
In February 2018 work began on a joint project involving Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and the Historic Environment Division (HED) to examine how much of a 14th century castle remained.

These restorations saw the entrance half of the building restored to an original castle facade while the other half was restored to the original 15th century town house look.

15 bedrooms within the hotel and a 70 seater restaurant, Dobbins Inn is a perfect venue for small tour groups as well as the indivdual traveller.
