About

Galgorm Castle is one of Ireland’s finest parklands and hosted the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2020, which was won by the USA’s John Catlin. The championship parkland is the the Home of the NI Legends and previously hosted the NI Open on the European Challenge Tour from 2013 – 2024 as well as the ISPS Handa World Invitational on the DP World Tour and LPGA Tour from 2021 – 2023.

The course is nestled in the heart of the 220-acre historic Galgorm Castle Estate, providing a mature setting that promotes an easy, relaxing rhythm that makes playing golf so pleasurable. Opened in 1997, the par-72 parkland was designed by Simon Gidman and was recognised with the IGTOA’s Irish Parkland of the Year award previously.

A variety of teeing areas provide an exciting and enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities and its central location means the course is a must-visit for any golfers planning a trip to Northern Ireland.

The championship parkland is part of the 550 acres of lush parkland at Galgorm Resort, with the spectacular River Maine flowing through the hotel grounds and down along the golf course.

The unique Thermal Spa Village is the jewel in the crown of Galgorm and is the first of its kind in Ireland, combining award-winning spa facilities and professional service to create an environment where tranquility can flourish.
