About

Islandmagee Riding Centre is a British Horse Society (BHS) Approved equestrian centre located in the heart of rural Islandmagee. Family-run since 1998, the centre is known for its welcoming atmosphere, experienced instructors, and dedicated team of trained helpers.

The centre offers a wide range of private and group lessons for riders of all levels — from complete beginners to those training for BHS Assessments. Their training programme has consistently achieved excellent pass rates, reflecting the high standard of instruction provided.

For younger riders, Islandmagee Riding Centre hosts exciting birthday parties and the ever-popular ‘Own a Pony Week’, offering children a fun and engaging introduction to horse care and riding.

Islandmagee offers more than just riding - with courses and certificates in horse care, it's perfect for those keen to learn about equines without getting in the saddle.

In addition, visitors can enjoy scenic trekking experiences through the local countryside — perfect for riders looking to connect with nature while building their confidence on horseback.

With over two decades of experience and a passion for horses at its heart, Islandmagee Riding Centre remains a trusted destination for quality equestrian experiences.
