An Introduction to Archaeological Illustration workshop

About

This workshop takes place at Carrickfergus Museum.

A brief overview of the history of archaeological illustration will be presented, before participants are given access to a selection of replica and genuine artefacts while learning the techniques archaeologists use to create detailed illustrations.

Templates will be provided on the day allowing each participant to complete their own illustrations using techniques learned during the workshop.

This workshop is organised as part of Carrickfergus Revisited weekend conference, which is taking place Friday 6th - Sunday 8th September.

Age 12+ Suitable for all drawing abilities, all material drawing materials will be provided.
