A Book Launch by Jim Shields

Friday 27th November 2026, 7.00pm - 8.30pm
Come and celebrate the launch of Jim's latest anthology of short stories and poems that explore the places that shaped us and the homeplace feelings that resonate with us all.
Jim Shields, formerly Emeritus Professor of Fire Safety Engineering at the University of Ulster, retired from his academic career in 2004. A passionate supporter of the arts he was a relative latecomer to creative writing, but once started he has striven to make up for lost time.
