Ballymena BID’s Halloween Trail is BACK!

Get the costumes ready because Ballymena BID’s Halloween Trail is BACK for 2026, and this year it’s the Haunted Harvest Treat Trail!
Join us in Ballymena Town Centre on Friday 30th October for a FREE afternoon of Halloween fun, with our spooky town centre trail, treats, free face painting and the return of our popular Fancy-Dress Competition.
Haunted Harvest Treat Trail | Start between 12 noon – 2pm
Your Halloween adventure begins at Tower Centre, where the Ballymena BID team will be waiting with your Haunted Harvest Treat Trail map. You can collect your map and start the trail anytime between 12 noon and 2pm – so there’s no need for everyone to arrive at once. Then it’s time to head off around Ballymena Town Centre, following the spooky trail and visiting the participating businesses along the way to collect some Halloween treats! The trail is completely FREE to take part.
FREE Halloween Face Painting | 12 noon – 4pm
While you’re at Tower Centre, why not add the finishing touches to your Halloween look with FREE face painting? Our face painters will be there from 12 noon until 4pm, ready to make your Halloween look even spookier! Whether you’re a witch, vampire, monster, superhero, or something completely different, we want to see your best Halloween style.
Fancy Dress Competition | Enter between 2pm – 4pm
Once you’ve completed the Haunted Harvest Treat Trail, make your way to Fairhill between 2pm and 4pm to enter our Halloween Fancy Dress Competition. To enter, simply stop by and have your photo taken in your fabulous Halloween costume. And this year, the public gets to decide the winners! All Fancy-Dress Competition entries will be published on the Ballymena Means Facebook page, where the public can vote for their favourites. Following the public vote, five winners will be announced, with each winner receiving a Ballymena Gift Card to spend across participating businesses in Ballymena Town Centre. So, whether you’re going scary, funny, cute, creative, or completely over the top, we want to see it!
