Portglenone Marina Motorhome Pitches

About

Nestled along the scenic banks of the River Bann just off the Gortgoyle Road, Portglenone Marina lies approx. 9 miles west of Ballymena and offers a peaceful and convenient stopover for motorhome travellers. With just six dedicated pitches available, the marina provides a tranquil base from which to explore County Antrim and the wider Northern Ireland region.

The marina is located in the village of Portglenone, where visitors will find a variety of shops and services including supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, takeaways, and both electric and hardware stores. Attractions in the area include the beautiful Portglenone Forest, the historic Portglenone Monastery, and Arthur Cottage in nearby Cullybackey—only a 10-minute drive away.

Each stay includes complimentary access to the marina building, which houses modern facilities such as a toilet block with free hot showers, a laundry room, and a comfortable TV lounge with views over the river. Entry to the site is secure, with a pin-operated barrier and access system in place.

Pitches are available all year round at a rate of £21.60 per night. Due to the limited number of spaces, booking in advance is essential.

To reserve a pitch, please contact Carrickfergus Marina on +44 (0) 28 9336 6666.
