Glenarm Castle Tea Room

About

Step into the heart of Glenarm Castle estate on the Causeway Coastal Route and discover our cosy Tea Room nestled in the former Mushroom House of the historic Walled Garden. Open every day, you can explore the beauty of the Glenarm Castle Walled Garden and estate (with a small separate fee), or simply swing by the Tea Room for a leisurely pit stop.

Let's talk about those gardens – they're like stepping into a fairy tale with manicured hedges, lush lawns, and flowers that refuse to quit, even when the season is winding down. And when it comes to tea and cake, our Tea Room is the perfect spot. If the weather's on your side, grab a spot on the patio for the ultimate chill session.

Now, onto the good stuff – the food. Breakfast is a hearty affair, from pancakes to a tasty Ulster fry packed with all the local flavors.served daily from 10 to 11:30 am. And lunch? Brace yourself. From 12 to 4 pm, we're serving up our famous Glenarm Estate Shorthorn burger (a local legend) and a delicious range of specials including meals for vegetarians.

Feeling something a bit lighter? We've got you covered with freshly made sandwiches, toasties, soups, pastries, and desserts. And, of course, a stellar lineup of teas and coffees for those who like to keep it easy.  Booking not required, walk ins only.

Keep tabs on our socials for cool events like afternoon tea and bistro nights.

Join us at the Glenarm Tea Room  for a laid-back mix of great food and the timeless charm of Glenarm Castle's Walled Garden.  (Don't forget, if you want to wander through the Walled Garden, there's a small separate fee – but trust us, it's worth it!)
