Platform 3 at Whitehead Railway Museum

About

The Platform 3 cafe is located in the Station Building of Whitehead Railway Museum and is the perfect place to refuel. Think of the classic movie 'Brief Encounter' and you will be transported back in the magnificent surroundings of the cafe. (Cafe is open to everyone but museum is for paying customers only.)

The Whitehead Railway Museum's beautifully renovated cafe offers a wide range of delicious food and beverages within a unique and historic setting. As well as the wider selection of beverages and snacks, it offers:
- A delicious range of fresh scones, cakes and buns.
- Gluten-free and vegan options.

Platform 3 is a great place to enjoy a meal or a coffee before or after your tour of the museum, or to meet up with friends and family.

Afternoon Tea
On several dates every year you can enjoy Afternoon Tea in a Railway Carriage at Whitehead Railway Museum. Scones with cream and jam, sandwiches made using local ingredients and a selection of petit fours with freshly prepared barista coffees and fine tea. Check Facebook page for upcoming dates.
