The Dancing Goat Cafe

About

Situated in the grounds of Kilcreggan Urban Farm & Garden Centre in Carrickfergus, the Dancing Goat Café is an award-winning social enterprise offering work opportunities to adults with learning disabilities, providing healthy breakfasts, lunches and sweet treats.

Whether you are visiting historic Carrickfergus for the day, heading to the Glens of Antrim on the Causeway Coastal Route or planning a walk on the Gobbins Coastal Path, be sure to pop by and experience The Dancing Goat Café’s warm and unique hospitality.

After you explore the Urban Farm and Garden Centre, you can relax with a freshly roasted Segafredo coffee and try one of our delicious homemade speciality scones.

Throughout the day, we offer a fantastic selection of gourmet sandwiches, savoury quiche, sausage rolls, rustic handheld pizzas, soups, stews, hot lunchtimes specials and a luscious selection of sweet treats. We have a great selection of gluten-free and vegetarian options too.

A Kiddies Party Package is available at weekends in our Farm Log Cabin which is adjacent to the café. The smaller log cabin is available for meetings and conferences with catering during the week. Outside bespoke catering packages can be arranged. We also have several evening themed dinner licenced events held throughout the year.

We were delighted to receive two awards recently. In 2018, we received “The Employer of People with a Disability Award” from The Northern Ireland Disabilities & Autism Awards. In 2019, we received the “Best Community or Social Enterprise Award” in the Carrickfergus Business Awards.
