About

Nestled on Beltoy Road, just outside Carrickfergus, Hillmount Garden Centre is a vibrant new attraction for visitors exploring Northern Ireland. Following a £1.5 million transformation of the former Sunnybank site, this state-of-the-art destination offers a stunning blend of rustic charm and modern lifestyle.

Discover expansive plant displays, stylish garden furniture, BBQs, tools, and a thoughtfully curated gift shop - perfect for gardeners, nature lovers, and those seeking something unique.

At the heart of the centre is the Gardener’s Rest Café, a cosy 60-seater with both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s the ideal spot to unwind over freshly brewed coffee, indulgent traybakes, weekly special scones and light bites!

Hillmount Carrick is dog-friendly, welcoming four-legged friends in the shop, plant area, and outdoor café seating.

Proudly run by the Mercer family - garden centre experts since 1940 - Hillmount Carrick is more than a shopping stop: it’s a family-friendly hub dedicated to wellbeing, sustainability, and community spirit.

Whether you’re sightseeing, catching up with friends, or planning your next outdoor project, Hillmount Carrick is a blooming brilliant stop on your journey.  Follow on Facebook for their latest events.
