North Irish Lodge - Leahy's Loft

About

Welcome to the multi-award winning, North Irish Lodge Holiday Cottages, situated along the beautiful east coast of County Antrim in Islandmagee.

Islandmagee is a small peninsula and was established from Mac Aodha (Magee) a prominent Irish family in the area.

The North Irish Lodge is a balance of being a 30 minutes drive from Belfast City Centre and being at the start of the dramatic Causeway Coastal road. We are surrounded by rural countryside with westward facing spectacular sunsets over Larne Lough.

Our stone cottages are beautifully restored farm buildings from 1850, maintaining much of the rural charm.

The North Irish Lodge is made up of 3 specially named holiday cottages:

1. Brennan’ Barn: Sleeps 5 adults  / 1x double, 3 x single beds

2. Annie’s Croft: Sleeps 4 adults / 1 x double, 2x single, 1x cot

3. Leahy’s Loft: Sleeps 4 adults / 1x double, 2 x single

The luxurious cottages are ideal for special family occasions and reunions and are suitable for guests with disabled needs. We are also a fantastic location for hosting wedding guest accommodation for Magheramorne Estate, Ballygally Castle, Hillmount House and Altahammond Barn Whitehead.

Enjoy views of Scotland across the sea: in particular the Paps of Jura, Mull of Kintyre and the Ailsa Craig. Keep a look out for islands off the Irish coast - The Maiden’s and the Copeland Islands too.

The North Irish Lodge is a family business and was bought by The Brennan’s, a local farming family, in July 2022.

The Brennan family have lived in Islandmagee for over a century and would love for you to enjoy their local area.

Thank you for booking with us,
