About

Carrickfergus Town was the original capital of Northern Ireland.

Ten minutes by car you will be able to visit the Knockagh Monument which by it's altitude overlooks the Belfast Lough and one can see Carrickfergus, Newtownabbey, Belfast, Bangor, Holywood and as far as Newtownards. (A must see on a clear day).

A children's playground is within a 2 minute walk or a 10 minute walk to a larger playground.
